Budgets change sharply with the scope and size of the room, so comparing a complete cabinet list matters more than comparing the price of one cabinet. Include the pieces that finish the plan, such as panels, fillers, trim and storage features, before deciding which option is genuinely the better fit.
Storage is not an afterthought. Pantry cabinets led the reported built-in features, while dedicated storage for small appliances was common in upgraded butler’s pantries. For a new kitchen, that is a useful reminder to plan around the items that live on the counter and in the cabinets every day.
